Samsung on Oct. 1 introduced Galaxy Buds On, the first clip-on, open-ear wireless earbuds in the Galaxy Buds line aimed at all-day comfort and outdoor awareness rather than noise isolation. According to Samsung Newsroom Korea and English-language coverage from The Verge and SamMobile, the buds rest on the ear without sealing the canal, use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S7 Gen 1 Sound Platform with a Class-D amp, and are rated for up to 9.5 hours of music per charge. TwinBoost speakers and Audio Leakage Reduction are meant to shore up bass and limit sound spill in quiet spaces; three mics plus a bone-conduction voice pickup sensor feed Intelligent Clear Call. Galaxy AI phones unlock Gemini Live, quick voice memos searchable via Bixby, and head-gesture call controls. Launch colour is black only. Korea goes first on Oct. 27 at ₩299,000 (about US$220), with other markets to follow in phases; Samsung said detailed Samsung.com product pages arrive with that launch. Canadian pricing and a firm ship date have not been announced, so shoppers should treat today’s unveil as a specification snapshot, not a buy button.
