Mobvoi Inc. on Wednesday launched TicNote Watch, a smartwatch built to record, transcribe and summarize conversations from the wrist without needing a phone nearby — aimed at professionals whose work revolves around meetings, interviews and sales calls.
The watch can start recording with a two-second press of a dedicated button, store up to 200 hours of audio locally and keep continuous recording going for more than 24 hours on a charge, according to the company’s announcement. Dual omnidirectional microphones with noise reduction are meant to pick up voices from about three to five metres. Live transcription in 17 languages scrolls on the display with claimed accuracy of at least 98 per cent and latency under 1.5 seconds; when a recording ends, an AI summary and mind map are pushed to the watch for review and sharing.
Software ties the hardware into TicNote’s app and cloud studio. An AI Journal stitches meetings with workouts, sleep, heart rate, blood oxygen, stress and readiness into one searchable timeline, while an evening AI Recap highlights key moments and action items. Shadow AI 2.0 can answer questions about recordings, and TicNote Connect lets assistants such as ChatGPT, Codex and Claude read and edit notes via an API; users can also bring Anthropic, DeepSeek and Qwen models with their own keys and export to Notion and Obsidian.
TicNote Watch is listed at US$249 on TicNote.ai and Amazon, with a limited introductory offer at US$199. Every unit includes the Plus plan with 600 transcription minutes a month; Pro and Business tiers are optional. Privacy and workplace consent rules still matter whenever wearable mics enter meetings — buyers should check local recording laws and employer policy before relying on the device for work notes.
