Amazon.ca's fall sale for Prime members began at 12:01 a.m. PT (3:01 a.m. ET) on Tuesday, 6 October 2026, and runs through Wednesday, 7 October. Amazon announced the dates in its Canadian press room on 14 September. In the U.S., Amazon says the sale ends at 11:59 p.m. PT on 7 October. Amazon's Canadian announcement gives no end time, so treat Wednesday evening as the cut-off. A big percentage on a deal badge doesn't always mean a big saving. For each pick, we compared the Amazon.ca price with the item's tracked Amazon.ca price history and with Best Buy Canada's price for the same model. Some 'list prices' turned out to be inflated: on several Amazon devices and one laptop, the higher reference price appeared only weeks before the sale. We flag those cases below. Our top pick is the Dyson V15 Detect Plus at $799.99. That matches its lowest tracked Amazon.ca price, it's about $240 below its usual selling price, and it comes with Dyson Canada's 2-year warranty. Shark's Vertex Pro has the biggest real discount at $219.99, down from $599.99. The Apple Watch Series 11 and AirPods Pro 3 have matched or come close to their lowest prices.

Quick picks

Overall winner

Dyson V15 Detect Plus Cordless Vacuum · Dyson V15 Detect Plus (Amazon.ca ASIN B0CT97D9R2)

The Dyson V15 Detect Plus is the best mix of a real discount and ownership value. At $799.99, shipped and sold by Amazon.ca, it matches the lowest Amazon.ca price RiverPrice has tracked. That's $200 below the Was price and about $240 below its average Amazon.ca price of $1,040.79. Best Buy Canada sells the standard V15 Detect at $999.99 right now. Dyson Canada's 2-year parts-and-labour warranty is longer than most warranties on this list, and Amazon.ca buyers rate the vacuum 4.4 out of 5 from 2,001 ratings. Owners do report that the V15 can start pulsing or cutting out after a year or two, which Dyson usually fixes by replacing the main body under warranty. If you want the biggest percentage saving, choose the Shark Vertex Pro at $219.99. If you want a gift for an iPhone user, choose the Apple Watch Series 11 at $406.99.

What to buy

Before you buy, sign in to Amazon.ca, confirm the price and make sure it's 'Shipped and sold by Amazon.ca'. Some colours and sizes of the same product have different prices. Return windows also vary. Apple products bought on Amazon.ca have 15 days, and most other picks here have 30. Don't buy on the badge alone. The Echo Show 15 and ASUS Vivobook Go 15 discounts are inflated by list prices that showed up shortly before the sale. The Bose QuietComfort Headphones and Ninja air fryer have been cheaper before: the Bose was $219.99 in November 2025, and the Ninja was $79.98 in June 2025. Register warranties after you buy and keep your Amazon.ca invoice. Remember that the Ring doorbell needs a paid plan to record video. Prices checked 6 October 2026, 10:12 to 10:13 a.m. ET; deals can change or sell out. More deals worth a look (CAD prices checked at about 10:12 a.m. ET on 6 October 2026; prices can change): - Ring Battery Doorbell 2K: $69.99. https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0FHJ8XWWL - LG 55-inch B6E OLED TV (OLED55B6EUA): $998. https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0GTWY95RF - Sony WH-1000XM6 headphones: $478. https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0F3PQHWTZ - Amazon Echo Show 15: $289.99. The $499.99 list price looks inflated, so judge the deal by the price history. https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0C7XDKZPD - ASUS Vivobook Go 15 (E1504FA-AS52-CA): $499. The $899 list price looks inflated, so judge the deal by the price history. https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0DX8B43Y3

How we chose

We started with Amazon.ca's own Prime Big Deal Days announcements, then searched Amazon.ca for deals on TVs, headphones, laptops and tablets, smart-home gear, kitchen appliances and vacuums. We kept only established brands with Canadian warranty and service, and only listings shipped and sold by Amazon.ca, as shown on each product page. We allowed no more than two picks per brand (we counted Shark and Ninja separately, though SharkNinja owns both), no more than two Amazon devices, and no TCL TVs. Every price is the CAD price shown on the Amazon.ca product page. We checked them all again between 10:12 and 10:13 a.m. ET on 6 October 2026, while signed out, so we couldn't confirm which prices need a Prime login. To test each discount, we compared it with the item's Amazon.ca price history from RiverPrice, a Canadian tracker (camelcamelcamel.ca and Keepa blocked our requests), and with Best Buy Canada's current regular and sale prices for the same model. Price trackers check prices periodically, so their lows and averages are approximate. Canada's Competition Bureau says a 'regular' or 'was' price is genuine only if the product sold in substantial volume at that price or higher, or was offered in good faith at that price for a substantial period. Amazon.ca says it shows a List Price only when at least half of its sales in the past 180 days were at or above it, or other retailers offered it at that price, and it calculates the Was Price from its own price history. Even so, several list prices sat well above typical selling prices, and we treat those discounts with caution. Each deal gets two scores out of 10. The deal score covers the discount against the typical price and how close the price is to the all-time low. The ownership score covers Amazon.ca ratings and review counts, recurring defect reports, the Canadian warranty and software or subscription issues. The final score averages the two. Owner reviews are anecdotes, and Amazon.ca review counts can be pooled across colours. We also considered the Garmin vívoactive 6 at $329.98 (down from $439.99), the Bose Smart Ultra Soundbar at $799.99, the Sony WH-CH720N at $118 and the Ninja CREAMi Deluxe at $199.99. We didn't include any discounted laptop, tablet or e-reader that wasn't at or near its tracked low. The Kindle Colorsoft ($229.99, 'list' $349.99) is about 15% above its low and has a list price that RiverPrice first recorded in August.

FAQ

When is Prime Big Deal Days 2026 in Canada?

It's on 6 and 7 October 2026. Amazon.ca says the sale starts at 12:01 a.m. PT (3:01 a.m. ET) on Tuesday, 6 October and runs through 7 October. Amazon's U.S. announcement says the event ends at 11:59 p.m. PT on 7 October, but its Canadian announcement gives no end time. Many deals last only while supplies last.

Do I need Prime to get these prices?

Amazon says Prime Big Deal Days deals are for Prime members (a free trial counts). We checked these prices while signed out, so we couldn't confirm which ones need Prime. Sign in and check the price before you buy.

How can I tell if an Amazon.ca discount is real?

Compare the price with the item's price history and with another Canadian retailer, not just with the struck-through list price. Under Canada's Competition Act, a 'regular' price has to be one the product actually sold at, or was offered at in good faith, for a substantial period. Amazon.ca also shows a 'Lowest price in 30 days' label, but that covers only the past 30 days.

Will Best Buy Canada match these prices?

Best Buy Canada had several of these items at the same or nearly the same price when we checked: the Samsung S90H, LG B6E, Sony WH-1000XM6, Ring doorbell and Echo Show 15. It was charging full price for the AirPods Pro 3, Apple Watch Series 11, Shark Vertex Pro and Ninja AF141C.
